

























This is the ultimate all original & perhaps 1 of the very last production Pre-CBS Precision Basses w/a soft “V” shaped Maple neck w/all late ’58 features in untouched original condition, it has its original faded 3-Tone Brown’burst finish over a very lightweight Alder body dated 11/58 & weighing in at a scant 9 lbs; these final issue Fender great feeling Maple Necks are rare & has a pencil date of 12/58, it’s sporting a very low serial # (32XXX) stamped on its 4-bolt neck plate, its original Gold Anodized pickgard has that luscious clear lacquer over Gold color used only between 1957-1959, its split Pickup is super smooth w/that quintessential “Jamerson” funk tone !, its pot date codes are from the 25th week of 1958, its so cool from its nickel tuners to its threaded saddle bridge, its all original in all respects & still retains its bridge & pickup covers along with every single screw from new, she has a gorgeous patina for a 66 year old original, it plays & feels incredible, other than having a few dings, & buckle rash on its back, she’s still far betta than Excellent, 1 of the best playing & sounding examples & most desirable examples on Earth, she comes complete in her original Tweed/Orange lined Hard Case.
