Astatic, located in Youngstown, Ohio, helped fuel the CB radio's status as a nationwide craze in the United States over the mid- 60's to late-1970's. Testing produces clear tone with a decent output level, with a replacement mini-Heil dynamic capsule with closely resembles a crystal sound quality. (Audio sample can be heard on the listing video.)
