The shell is made of poplar wood, and has an appealing tone that combines a strong attack with a warm sound. The set consists of a 12" snare and a 18" bass drum with a shallow depth of 7", so it requires minimal space for setup and can be used in a wide range of situations, from small venues like cafes to street shows.

It also has excellent portability, as it can be transported in a single set of dedicated drum bags (part number: DSS28LJ/sold separately).

By adding a cymbal holder (part number: CACLJ/sold separately) that mounts directly on the bass drum, or Add On Packs (part number: LJKT10F14/sold separately) that include a 14"x7" floor tom and a 10"x7" tom tom to the set, you can expand the range of settings, making this a highly expandable drum set that can be played in a variety of situations and musical genres.
