HS Anderson Strider (like Fender Stratocaster S-style) 1977 - Natural Made in Japan

This is a very high-quality, late 1970‘s Stratocaster “clone” from HS Anderson. It’s a superb guitar that in terms of quality of materials and finish, punches well above the price that I am asking for it. I‘ve owned Tokai Goldstars, Greco Supersounds and many Made in Japan Fenders and this HS Anderson easily matches those guitars in terms of quality. They‘re just not so well known, that’s all - which personally, I kind of like.

Anyway, I am reluctantly letting it go and would like to sell quickly as we have just moved to a smaller house and have limited storage, so I’ve reduced the price further to £545 (no offers, thank you). If you‘d like to buy then please go ahead and I will post immediately.

1977 HS Anderson Strider

Remarkable condition, only very minor signs of use. Has got to be one of the best available.

Looks even better in person than in the photos, the wood grain on the body and neck is just beautiful. 

There is also a very subtle, lightly roasted tiger striping on the back of the neck - very cool detail.

Comes with period-correct Made in Japan hard case.

Perfect working order.

Plays beautifully and sounds great (with original Keiyo pickups). The neck on this one is superb - great feel and a very subtle rolled edge to the fingerboard. Extremely comfortable to play.

High quality components such as Schaller machine head tuners and upgraded control knobs (the tone and volume control knobs are very high quality Schaller metal items, not plastic). 

A very high quality guitar, in my experience this easily rivals any Made in Japan Fender of this era that I have owned.

Rare to find in this kind of condition.

Approx. 7.5lbs in weight. 

Even comes with its original tremolo arm and bridge cover. I also have the original plastic tone and volume control knobs (as pictured).
You could spend twice this amount on a Made in Japan Fender in this kind of condition (I have owned several) and in my view, the HS Anderson would still be the better guitar to own.

Reluctant sale - we’ve just moved to a house that needs an awful lot of work and I don’t have time to play or much storage room at the moment, and so I’m letting a few guitars go to put funds towards the house improvements.
