This is the classic Tennessee Rose model G6119-1962FT from Gretsch's Professional Collection. This guitar is built to the specs an original mid 1960's Tennessean model. The guitar features a "Zero" Fret, Filter'Tron pickups, rocking bar bridge, and simulated F-Holes which are all 1962 period correct appointments designed in part by Chet Atkins himself. The body of a Tennessee Rose is a little smaller and thinner then the 6120 and Gent models making it a great choice for someone who does not favor such a large body design. The guitar is all Pro-series Gretsch with perfect playability and neck angle and classic warm tones. The voice of the guitar is clear and clean with excellent note definition and a warm woody charachter. Filter'Tron pickups offer very low noise and sound fantastic clean but handle quite a bit of overdrive as well!
