This box belongs in a class of elite FX racks: true multi-FX. Korg took a modular approach in designing it. There are up to 8 FX slots that can be filled in any order. The only limitation is that some FX use more processing power than others, but this is still as flexible as it gets in hardware. It isn’t all just bread & butter sounds either, this thing can get as weird as any Eventide for a fraction of the price. It’s a legend in its own right, though. If you’ve ever wished you could have your M1 or Wavestation‘s FX section as a standalone unit, the A1 is your wish come more than true.

As always, I give these bits of kit the ol’ once over so you don’t have to worry about the future while you’re in the moment making music. No scratchy pots, no skippy dials, no unresponsive buttons, no phantom noise floor, no “quirks”, just solid performance. Everything was cleaned inside & out, the factory patches were restored, and fresh memory battery was swapped in. This A1 will keep ticking for another bushel of decades.

This sale comes with the big funny black box that’s named the same thing as a famous steak sauce, a power cord, and my guarantee as a trained tech.
