Epiphone Double Cut Junior Dr Skull Neck Gibson P100 Custom Build DC

Custom built rock monster! This is a personal creation.

The neck is from a Dr Skull Epiphone model. I added Epiphone Deluxe tuners and a Tusq nut. It has a Rosewood fretboard, 22 frets with crossbones at the 12th fret. It has normal side markers on the fretboard edge, so playing is easy.

A DP string butler has been added, as well as an Epiphone adjustable bridge. These bridges are fully adjustable, comparable to Badass, discontinued long ago. The guitar stays in tune and the intonation is perfect.

The body is a double cut, refinished in black lacquer. It has a custom wiring harness with CTS 500K pots, Gavitt 24AWG wire, a paper in oil capacitor and a Switch craft jack.

*Please note: the neck pocket was tight, so my luthier had to plane down a small area on one side of the neck, for fit, and to keep the bridge concentric to the nut. It has no affect on the integrity of the guitar.

The pickup is a Gibson P100. For those of you who are unfamiliar, the P100 is a P90 with a secondary coil to cancel 60 cycle hum. They may be discontinued for public sale, I can't find them online. The pickup sounds amazing, clean and rich.
