We're very excited to offer up this incredible, mid-60s Hofner 500/1. Perhaps most recognisable as being famously used by Sir Paul McCartney, this example is only a couple years away from the infamous '63 Beatles bass. Super lightweight and acoustically resonant with a pronounced 'growl', this particular example both looks and sounds incredible. We believe it to be a 1965, with all hardware appearing to be completely original. Currently setup with flatwound strings, and plays well with a comfortable action.
