This DiMarzio True Velvet Middle Strat Single Coil Pickup gives your guitar a bright but sweet tone, even past the 12th fret.

By tuning the coil to a frequency range that’s bright but not thin and using a specific magnet stagger pattern, DiMarzio give you a pickup that is specifically designed to enhance both clarity and string balance, even when playing full chords. With the aim of getting a sweet spot where the sound is bright but not piercing, this pickup is designed to give you the best of vintage style single coil sounds without the worry and inconsistency of using a vintage pickup or guitar. It is equally effective for many playing styles, from the clarity of country music to the grit of Texas blues. This middle pickup features reverse polarity, giving you hum cancellation in positions two and four. Reverse polarity on all DiMarzio single coil pickups is south up. The Alnico five magnets are ground by hand in the USA and this pickup features vintage cloth covered wire.
