You don't see these on Reverb very often! Similar functionality to a Trinnov but almost $3k cheaper.

I used this Flex for room tuning and subwoofer alignment on a PSI monitor system, which it handled flawlessly. Made my room workable for several years until I switched to Genelec monitors with onboard DSP.

This unit has the Dirac Live and Balanced TRS options which are ideal for studio monitoring. I found that Dirac works the best on this unit when set to correct the low frequencies up to about 250Hz or so. The end result in my room was that every bass note could be heard clearly and evenly, with the mids and top end untouched. Dirac also linearizes the phase of your monitors, which helps the center image 'float' more realistically between the speakers.

The Flex is also a very transparent ADC / DAC. I couldn't hear the conversion hop with the analog input, but you can also send it AES / SPDIF or Toslink for the purest signal.

I would recommend purchasing a MiniDSP UMIK-1 USB measurement microphone on the side to aid in calibration. Works flawlessly with Room EQ Wizard and Dirac Live, and also is factory calibrated for SPL.

Will deliver locally in the LA / OC area.
