*Edit* I will now be including a large Guild acoustic hardshell case with this instrument, which means I will now offer shipping. It fits nicely into the case despite its shape, and I pack carefully, so it will be able to travel safely.

This 6 string bowl back lute / guitar has high action (as visible in the last picture), but is playable at low end (I've played it a bit with a capo to help that). It has a lovely warm tone and frets look fine, but the saddle is very low, causing a few strings to buzz a bit (especially the A string). You need a sharper angle over the saddle for a clearer tone, so that would improve the strings' tone.

There are some thin cracks on the top soundboard but the back looks to be in good shape. I was told this was likely from Germany from the late 1800s or early 1900s, but cannot confirm the origin. It certainly looks and feels very old.

The high action is due to the neck coming in at too much of an angle, and I've thought about using heat, pressure and glue to improve the angle (it appears flexible enough). This seems doable, along with replacing the saddle with a higher one to improve the tone. I decided not to work on this guitar though, as I don't want to hurt it or mess with it. Maybe you want to play it, work on it, or keep it as an antique decoration more than I do.
