After attending his first winter NAMM show in January of 1985 with a small selection of guitars, Smith returned to Annapolis, Maryland and moved into the PRS Virginia Ave factory. For four months, a small team of fewer than 15 employees began building 20 un-serialized guitars.  They built 1000 instruments in the following 18 months.  This model commemorates the 20th anniversary of the opening of said factory.  Featuring rosewood tuning key buttons and birds-in-flight inlay, this guitar pays tribute to the ones that came before it.  I believe this one may have the old style John Mann bridge that has the one-piece tremolo block/bridge plate as I don't see the machine screws that generally join the two.  PRS fans know that these bridges are in a league of their own as far as sustain and clarity go.  Very cool piece!
