Bought this beautiful Vintage Fender 1962 Tremolux Amp used 40 years ago. Just recently had my Fender technician go through it and here’s what he found: 1)Power Transformer is a 1963 Schumacher- not original. 2) Output Transformer is Trico- not original and not sure of year. 3) Choke is original 1962 Schumacher. 4) Amp circuit is 6G9B 5) All wiring was redone and dressed properly 6) Replaced 2 original filter caps, 1 original bias cap and 4 original cathode bypass caps. 7)All tubes tested good: 2-GE 6l6’s, !st stage- Sylvania 12AX7, 2nd stage- Sovtek 12AX7, 3rd stage- RCA 12AX7, Phase Inverter- Sovtek 12AX7. I’m providing photos of everything I could….some are a little over sharpened to show lettering a little better. The amp is in perfect working condition and great cosmetic condition considering it’s age. Tolex is all original and so is everything else as far as I know. There are no locking lugs on the speaker cabinet to lock the head to the cabinet….should be easy to get some. Head only $2800.....Buy with confidence I’m 100%!!!!
