Suzuki Omnichord OM-108 Electronic Autoharp - Ivory

Originally introduced in 1981, the Omnichord stands as an iconic electronic musical instrument, renowned for its automatic accompaniment features, including auto bass and chord functionalities, complemented by a sensitive harp sensor. With the simple press of a chord button and a graceful glide across the harp sensor (known as the strumplate), you conjure an arpeggio harmonizing with the selected chord. This ingeniously user-friendly design enables individuals, regardless of prior musical experience or knowledge of traditional notation, to effortlessly accompany songs using chord names.

Portable and accessible, the Omnichord is a real crowd pleaser,, and has gained immense popularity with child, adult and indie bands alike. Unique electronic sounds reminiscent of the '80s and its tactile approach to musical expression have propelled it to cult status worldwide. Beyond its sonic presence in recorded music, the Omnichord has graced publicity photos, inspired song and album titles, and become a cherished musical icon.

While the Omnichord name saw a hiatus after the OM-300's release in 1996, its enduring appeal as a distinctive musical instrument has withstood the test of time. Now, over four decades since its inception, the Omnichord makes a triumphant return, this time with a separately available carry bag.
