This listing is a vintage 1960's Fairchild Lumiten 668 RMB rack containing 17 Lumiten 668 RAB cards. The system was part of a mixing console that used incandescent light and LDR's to attenuate audio for each channel. This technology predates the use of VCA's in an attempt to improve upon stepped attenuators, and noisy potentiometers. I don't know much more about it, nor do I have any way to test these components. They appear to be in good condition. Maybe you can build a cool compressor or level controller or something out of these parts?
