Vintage 1957 RCA Victor Royalist AC/DC Tube Combo Amplifier - Like Kay or Valco

Here's a very rare RCA Victor Royalist amp in great condition.  RCA Victor used to have a chain of record shops, and they would also sell guitars and amps.  The Guitars were made by Kay and the amps were made by Valco (who also made the Kay amps of the period).

The original multi-cap is date-coded to early 1957, which helps to date the amp.

This little gem has an alnico 6 inch speaker like the early Fender Champs.  The tubes are 12AX7A, 50C5, and 35W4.  It appears to be all original.  As far as I can tell, it is similar to the Kay Model 503 of the same era, but the cosmetics are much cooler.  It reminds me of an early Marshall amp.

The amp works fine and is great for practice.  As you crank it, it gets mildly distorted.  All 3 inputs work.  Typical low level hum you would expect from a vintage amp.

This is a great value in a cool looking handwired tube amp from the 1950's.  These don't appear on the market very often, so grab it while you can!
