Neumann U47 - Serial #4593. Excellent condition, VF14 valve, comes with good tested spare VF14 valve, NG power supply, original mic stand mount, plus a Neumann cage mount and separate 10m cable. Excellent condition. I have had it for approx. 25yrs. When I bought from a person in Germany it appeared brand new. Comes from Paradise Studios, Woolloomooloo, Sydney and later the studio moved to Gosford, NSW near Sydney. It is the best out of of a total of 3 that I have had over many years.

About 5-6 yrs ago its M7 capsule was reskinned by an expert in Germany which was arranged for me by world renowned microphone expert/technician Mr. Gunter Wagner.
These microphones have been used by Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Ray Charles and on many others of the worlds leading vocal & Jazz artists since the 1950's, and they still are today. The main picture of mic above was from about 25 years ago when I purchased it. It is a bit less shiny now as can be seen from the other pics.
It has always been stored in a temperature controlled studio safe.

Ideally buyers (or their agents) are welcome to test and approve on pick up at my studio in Gosford (1 hrs drive from Sydney), alternatively, returns accepted within 7 days of the receipt of item for domestic purchases or 14 days of receipt for international purchases.

After payment if consignment required it is a condition of purchase that buyer pays the total costs of consignment by post or courier with full insurance, and if return is required also pays the costs of return with full insurance.
