This stylish and rugged 10 watt mono tube amplifier (amp model 8810) and speaker was sold as a companion to the famous Voice of Music 722 Reel to Reel recorder. It has mic (and guitar) level input and also line-level input. The phono-plug mic-level input has sensitivity 0.02 V for full output and the RCA line-level input has sensitivity 0.3 V for full output. The four-prong speaker output is connected to the front speaker, which sounds GREAT and is really loud with a vintage crystal microphone. There is also an unused secondary speaker output as shown in the photo.
The frequency response is 20-25,000 Hz, 10 Watts peak power. The tubes are 12AX7, 6V6, and 6X4. The dimensions of the closed crate are 17" x 15" x 10" high. It weighs 24 lbs, and the cord is 8' long. Jensen 6x9 inside!
This one is in great vintage condition with some patina on the case as shown. I brought it back up with a variac and it works wonderfully. It is in original electronic condition, with just one tube replaced. This listing includes all the original paperwork shown, including a full schematic.
I cannot guarantee that it will continue to work, since vintage electronics can fail at any time. If desired, I'll be happy to do an electrolytic capacitor replacement and clean and lubricate the pots for an extra $200. I will also be happy to provide this service later, upon your request, with shipping extra.
