The Elektron Digitakt II is an updated version of the groovebox-sampler, featuring 16 tracks for audio (mono or stereo) and MIDI, along with 5 sample playback modes: Oneshot, Warp, Stretch, Repitch, and Grid. Each track includes an equalizer, overdrive, and a filter with 5 modes: Multi-Mode, Lowpass 4, Equalizer, Comb, and Legacy LP/HP. The master channel is equipped with overdrive and a stereo compressor.

The Digitakt II supports 3 assignable LFOs per track, as well as delay, reverb, and chorus effects, and it offers 20 GB of internal storage. The MIDI track supports 4-voice polyphony per step, 16 assignable CC parameters, and 2 assignable LFOs per track. Its flagship sequencer features 128 steps with individual pattern lengths, sequence playback speed control, parameter locks per step, a retrigger function, micro-timing adjustments, and a Euclidean rhythm generator. Additionally, it offers support via Overbridge.
