Gretsch - Latin Model 12"x6" and 13"x6" Timbales, No Stand, Slingerland Mounts 1972-1979

Pair of 1970s, Gretsch, Latin Model Timbales, 12"x6" and 13"x6". No stand is available, and the timbales are outfitted with 1970s Slingerland tom mounts. The 12" timbale has no badge or serial number, and is slightly bent/warped, as you can see in the photos. With the 12" being warped, the head fits a bit tight. However, these timbales are in generally great shape, and sound awesome. Hal Blaine used a similar pair of Gretsch metal timbales as toms on many of those early Phil Spector sessions. Phil Spector really loved the way his timbale toms cut through the mix.

13"x6" Timbale Serial Number: 23502
