Incredible sounding vintage Neumann Small Diaphragm Condenser, in full working order. Capsule is in lovely condition, with a fully working pad and all polar patterns (Cardioid/Fig. 8/Omni) which often break on these microphones.

The last Neumann microphone to be made with a nickel capsule, and it sounds truly brilliant. Soft and sparkly on guitars, bowed strings, and vocals. These have famously fragile grilles, and there is a small dent in this one, shown in the photos. However, there are no cracks in the metal as is often the case with the other head basket design, and replacement baskets can be bought from Chris Roberts (Soundlock).

Originally owned by a Danish Radio Company (hence the white lettering) this microphone has come from the personal collection of a London Studio owner, and has been looked after very well indeed. The capsule was examined shortly before I purchased it and was in great condition.

Price reflects the rarity and quality of this microphone. Collection is encouraged so you can examine and test the microphone yourself.
