This is a very special bell. Raw red brass and engraved for a 88H and marked as a “9” bell at the top of the bell stem. From what I have found this was a bell produced for the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra in the late 90s to help with the growing de of the players there. It sounds amazing and more like a most modern custom trombone builders than it does a traditional Conn bell. It is in great shape and has a beautiful patina on the raw brass.
