Up for sale is an incredible 2010 Gibson Custom Shop Collector's Choice #1 Melvyn Franks "Greeny" '59 Les Paul VOS in COLLECTOR GRADE MINT condition.
This guitar is from one of Australia's largest private collections and is completely UNTOUCHED. It has never been played or even been out of its case. It was bought and went straight into the collection vault.
The Gibson Collector's Choice #1 Melvyn Franks 1959 Les Paul Standard is a reproduction of the 1959 Les Paul Standard that belonged to Peter Green from Fleetwood Mac and later to the legendary Gary Moore. Melvyn Franks purchased the guitar from Moore who then sold it to its current owner, Kirk Hammett of Metallica. It was produced in a limited run of 100 "aged" and 300 VOS (Vintage Original Spec) versions.
