RODENBERG is a German brand of effectors and amplifiers.

Its products have been used by Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, Lee Ritenour, Steve Vai, Steve Lukather, and others, and are highly acclaimed for their capabilities.

This model is the signature overdrive of legendary guitarist Steve Lukather.

He has always been a fan of Rodenberg's effect pedals, and the OD and SL OD are updates of those pedals.

LUKE says they help boost the distortion of the guitar amp you use by smoothing it out naturally and noiselessly.

The controls are simple: TONE, DRIVE, LEVEL, and a gain and bass boost SW.

The gain range is wide, from low gain to high gain, and can be used as a booster or stand-alone distortion.

I think the big appeal of the RODENBERG is that it maintains a balance that does not destroy the sound even though it has such a wide gain range.

Although this is a signature model, we confidently recommend this gem even to non-fans of RODENBERG's music.
