1983 Wal MK1 fretless made with Brazilian Mahogany core, Paduak facings, Ebony fingerboard, and a maple neck.

This bass is in very good condition. for its age, it’s in excellent shape. Some playing wear, but no major dings, nicks, dents or scratches. I tried to picture as much of the body as possible. Everything works as it should. Neck is straight and the bass plays great.

I just had it professionally set up with flat wounds. When I bought it There were round wounds on it. It had probably been that way for some time as you can see in the one photo some wear on the fingerboard. This wear is veryyyy light though. It’s almost more visual than anything. You can’t feel unless you moved the strings out of the way to rub it. But even then it’s very light.

If you look at the headstock you’ll notice a couple additional marks. At some point in its life, an aftermarket string tree was applied to there are a couple holes. When I bought this and I contacted Paul at Wal and he sent me a replacement Wal string tree, which is what is on there now.

This is the original case, which is pretty rare. All latches work, the inside is in excellent condition.

Please let me know if you have any questions at all!
