Here is a Peerless Martin Taylor Maestro in excellent condition . Peerless was founded as a company in 1970 by Japanese Fujigen. In its Korean factory they created thousands of guitars for brands like Epiphone and Fender. Ultimately, they changed direction, reduced their production and begain building their own very high quality guitars. This guitar, the "Maestro" was built to the specs required by Sir Martin Taylor as his concert performing instrument. It is all carved woods, spruce and maple, and a comfortable 15" across the lower bout. It has a bone nut. The floating pickup is a custom Kent Armstrong. A tone pot has been added on the ebony pick guard ... in an "out of the way" position. If you see white specs in the pics. that is not a finish flaw but humidifier dust that easily wipes off.
The video linked to this listing is a Maestro being played by Martin Taylor himself. Peerless as a guitar company was acquired by another Korean company ("SessionMan") in 2020 and does not appear to be making archtop guitars. Here is an opportunity to buy a handmade all carved archtop at a significant discount.
This guitar is in excellent condition. There are no significant flaws that would impair the beauty or function of the instrument. It will ship in its Perless OEM case. I just noticed that the 5 latch case has one broken latch. None. the less it is sturdy and fully functional. Please add a flat fee of $125 for shipping and insurance within the continental USA. If more, I will pay any overage. Local pickup in Denver, CO is also OK.
