The Kurzweil K1000 is a sample playback instrument as well as a digital waveform synthesizer and is multitimbral and polyphonic with 24 notes. 76-note weighted keyboard. the K1000 boasts many of the same samples found in the K250. The famous Kurzweil piano, beautiful strings and brass, and nearly all orchestral instruments were recorded by the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
