Ivy Pedals is proud to present the Good Guy analog overdrive guitar effect pedal.
Good Guy is my twist on the classic overdrive topology, and features a tone switch, and symmetrical clipping with a diode selector switch. This overdrive is all analog and has a nice warm tone. Not a full distortion, but a precisely controlled overdrive. The Good Guy is designed to be stackable with other distortion/boost/dirt pedals.
Controls:
Dirt: clipping/crunch/distortion amount, input gain
Level: volume, output level
Tone: Hi=trebly guitar / Lo=MORE BASS (compatible with bass guitars)
Knife: diode selector! Lg=~mystery diodes~ / Sm=1n4148 (wide vs. narrow clipping)
Good Guy features true bypass switching and runs on standard 9v DC center negative power supply. Runs on 12v DC as well! This is the original Good Guy build specs and colorway- expect another version soon!
Each Good Guy analog overdrive is hand-built by Ivy Pedals, and is an original circuit design (as all of mine are)
