The Warm Audio WA-19 is a dynamic microphone inspired by one of the most popular mics of the 1960s. It offers a unique blend of dynamic mic functionality and condenser-like clarity, making it versatile for both studio and live use. The WA-19 features a custom capsule that delivers clear top-end detail and reduces unwanted noise, making it ideal for capturing instruments like acoustic guitars, vocals, and snare drums. This microphone has been used by artists like The Beatles, Tame Impala, and Slayer, and it can add a touch of classic sound to your recordings. The WA-19 is built to tackle modern recording challenges while staying true to its vintage character. It features a variable high-pass filter to tighten up the low end and reduce proximity effect, which is a build-up of bass frequencies when the microphone is placed close to a sound source. Additionally, the WA-19 has a rugged metal design for everyday studio and live use.Unlike many standard dynamic microphones, the WA-19 offers a wider frequency response that captures more detail in the upper mids and highs. This makes it a great choice for a variety of instruments, and its thin design allows for easy placement in tight situations. With its exceptional sound quality and versatile features, the Warm Audio WA-19 is a valuable addition to any microphone collection.
