The Red Giant is Collateral's High Gain pedal. Based on the Revv G3, the Red Giant offers less piercing highs and more clarity and note separation when in high gain. Its Mass switch provides three "channels" with different voicings and levels of gain, transitioning from a high gain with more balanced EQ and more compression, to the sound of 80s hot-rodded Marshall amps, and moving on to a mode full of gain, with cutting mids and less compression, akin to high-gain Bogner amplifiers.

Here we have a powerful pedal with a wide gain range and an extremely versatile equalizer, covering tones from 80s hard rock, Grunge, and reaching the most modern metal sounds. It's worth noting that the Red Giant also sounds fantastic when connected directly to your power amp or cabinet simulator.
