lightly used genuine Fender instrument cable, 10 feet, black PVC - Professional OFC (oxygen-free copper) Noiseless Instrument Cable (1/4" Straight TS Male to 1/4"Straight TS Male plugs)

Up for grabs is a lightly used genuine FENDER 10 foot instrument cable (for guitar, bass, keyboard....). BLACK (PVC covering). Nickel-plated connectors (plugs).

• 1/4" Straight TS Male to 1/4"Straight TS Male plugs
• This is a MONO cable.

It's from around 2012 (it was part of the case candy with a USA Strat that I got many years ago - sold the guitar & the other items a while back).

High quality  / durable cable.

Tip to tip measurement is just about 10 feet.  

It works fine.

Area near each plug (on the hard rubber tube-like part) has a raised Fender logo (it's in black and it is part of the hard rubber. One Fender logo on each end. The logos are fine.

The main wire says: Professional OFC Noiseless Instrument Cable. This information appears Nine Times. This info is in silver color print.

• OFC means oxygen-free copper)

It was not used that much. It is has some not too serious imperfections:

• Some areas of the wire / cable have very light & light surface scuffs and light bends.
• One of the metal 1/4" plugs is clean - it just has very light surface cloudiness and a few tiny light nicks. This cloudiness shows up more in the pictures than they appear in person. You can see the nicks in picture # 2.
• The other metal 1/4" plug has a few very short kind of wide dash light scratches (which you can see in picture # 12), it has a longer hairline scratch (which I tried to show picture # 13 - but you really can't see in it that picture), and it has a few tiny nicks (see picture # 2).

The cable works fine. But I wanted to let you know:

• The hard rubber tube-like pieces that taper (narrow) in the direct of the cable can unscrew. Each of them unscrew at the edge near the lower area of each 1/4" plug (where the hard rubber edge and the metal meet). SEE pictures # 14 and # 15.
• Therefore - if you ever need to repair the inner wire(s) or if you need to shorten the cable - you can do so if you have a soldering iron or if you know some one that can do it for you.
• NOTE: Every so often you may need to tighten this area.

I just want to let you know that the hard rubber ends - in between the metal plug and the regular cable part -- are very stiff and do not bend. In a way this is good because this design protect the cable wire contact to the plug. But in a way this is not good because it is not flexible like most other cable.

NOTE:   There are a some imperfections that can be seen in person that are not visible in the pictures. There may be some imperfections that I overlooked. And there maybe some imperfections show up in the pictures that are not that visible in person (such as:  glares, reflections, dust / lint specks).
