Tiptop Audio Octopus - USB/Midi to ART Interface + Voice Manager

The OCTOPUS stands as a formidable ART controller that accepts MIDI input through either a USB or DIN connector, offering 8 ART channels along with 8 velocity CV outputs and 8 drum triggers. This integration transforms the way modular systems connect with computer sequencers, hardware MIDI sequencers, and keyboards when paired with ART oscillators. It allows each ART channel to handle polyphonic or monophonic notes and leverages an internal voice manager to facilitate multi-channel polyphony, enabling the OCTOPUS to orchestrate a greater number of voices and notes than previously achievable in a modular setup. The OCTOPUS ensures tight timing with minimal jitter through the use of ART's high-speed control signals. As our inaugural ART controller, with more to come, the OCTOPUS invites users to delve into the world of ART, offering a choice between itself and the ART V/Oct Quantizer for starting out. It is important to note that the OCTOPUS does not serve as a 1V/Oct MIDI to CV converter and should not be mistaken for one.
