This is the first computer-based system from Roland from 1983.
It's a pretty rare and interesting box. 8 CV/Gate connections, clock in/out, 5 audio outputs and the Apple II card included in the offer ensure contact with the outside world. There is also a MIDI interface (not included). The drum section of the CMU-800R has a sound generator that is almost identical to that of the well-known TR-606.
Device and accessories are in very good condition. Please look at the photos.
