The Pedal
Vintage original Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer, tested and in full working order. There is some cosmetic wear through use. Controls have been checked and operate smoothly with no crackling. This came to me with the rubber base covers on the back removed and replaced with pedalboard tape, I have restored this to original condition. The foam at the base of the battery compartment is also missing.

Serial number 404638 dates this example to 1984 with capacitor codes from late 1983.

Silver 'Made in Japan' label. All original, no modifications or repairs.

Overview
The Tube Screamer from Ibanez (originally built by Maxon) ranks as one of the most influential pedals ever made and set the bar for generations of overdrives to come. The TS9 of the early-to-mid '80s was the second Tube Screamer model after the TS808 and has been used guitarists from the gamut of styles including Trey Anastasio of Phish and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Originally produced from roughly 1981 to 1985, the TS9 was brought back into production in the early '90s.
