Single cutaway thin-line model features laminated maple construction with double F holes. Slim 1 11/16" body depth similar to thin-line guitars that came later. Solid maple partial center block helps reduce feedback and gives this guitar a more aggressive rock and blues attack. Les Paul designed trapeze tailpiece with wrap around bridge bar. Mahogany neck with 24 3/4" scale. Bound Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. Single Gibson P-90 pickup with Volume and Tone controls, although tone knob is a bit stiff. B/W/B pickguard with side mount. Individual closed style tuning machines. It includes the original “snakeskin” chipboard case.

Instrument is in EXCELLENT CONDITION especially for being over 65 years old. Serial#459216. It has signs of age but this guitar appears to have only ever been gently played. It has entirely original parts and even the original chipboard case with faux-snakeskin. This is a beautiful vintage guitar in especially fine condition. Extremely lightweight (5lbs 13oz) and fun to play. The P-90 sounds great and can be used for all styles of music.  Also included contemporary after market tuners that are drop in replacements for the originals although the originals are working fine. The only repair done is a strap button hole has been filled, it had been installed on the upper side of the heel.  A later strap button has been installed on center of the heel.  The finish has been examined under black light and is original with only the recent strap button repair.
