This USED Gibson J-45 Square Shoulder Dreadnought is a rare vintage treasure, likely dating from 1968 or early 1969, during Gibson’s transitional period. The serial number places it in 1968, while the square shoulder body typically introduced in 1969 hints at Gibson's famously inconsistent production during that era. A true vintage piece, it lacks the "Made in USA" stamp, confirming it was built pre-1970.

In outstanding condition for its age, this J-45 features no cracks, no headstock or neck repairs, and original tuners still intact. The body shows beautiful all-over lacquer checking, adding to its authentic vintage character. The action is comfortably set for modern playability, and it delivers that unmistakable J-45 voice: warm, rich lows, articulate mids, and woody sustain that only comes with time.
