The Yamaha YSS-475II intermediate soprano saxophone is an ideal choice for advancing soprano players looking to step up from their student instruments. Optimized for smooth action and superior tone, the Yamaha YSS-475 II is an outstanding soprano sax that benefits from company’s “top-down” design process, incorporating advanced features found on the company’s esteemed professional models. Students love the YSS-475II for its easy playability, great intonation, and sweet, lyrical sound; band directors love it for its rock-solid construction, which keeps it in the classroom and not in the shop. For rich resonance, the saxophone’s neck, body, bell, and keys are made from premium yellow brass, while its fixed-neck, 1-piece design sheds weight for a supremely comfortable playing experience. The Yamaha YSS-475II offers solid quality, performance, and value in an intermediate soprano saxophone. If you’re ready to take the next step in your development as a saxophonist, it’s an excellent choice.
