York Artist model trumpet 1955-56 - Brass Lacquer

York “Artist” model trumpet in very good condition. Serial number dates the horn to 1955-56 vintage. The Artist model trumpet was a value priced intermediate to pro level horn made from 1951 - 1956. Good quality, solid built trumpet with a very warm somewhat mellow sound. They are kind of a “sleeper” horn as York production numbers were nowhere close to that of Conn, Olds, Buescher, etc. I find this to be a very easy and enjoyable trumpet to play, and I love the mellow sound. This trumpet has had minor repair from creases in bell, sight dent in side of bell, and re-solder of some bracing. All slides are free and the valves are very good, smooth, and tight. Comes with case and Bach 5C mouthpiece.
