Martin Custom Shop Premium & Gorgeous Old Growth Ziricote M36 0000 Grand Auditorium 2021

One of the finest *Custom Shop* Martins I have ever played - this guitar sounds absolutely brilliant! This model ('M36' or '0000') is widely regarded as Martin's most versatile models. Great for everything especially recording, finger style, picking & etc. Produced with some of the finest sounding and visually appealing woods available at the time. This is Nashville's Secret Weapon! A model of choice for many professional recording artists because this guitar one guitar can handle it all. Known for it's versatility, balanced tonal range, pronounced mid range and an ideal size. A thinner but wider body - similar to its Dreadnought cousin but with without a scooped mid range. Less bass overall than the D but not while sacrificing tonal balance. What makes this guitar truly special is it's finish. 2 piece solid old growth which is book matched Ziricote back and sides with tight growth circles. I don't think Martin offers solid ziricote anymore outside of special premium selections of it's wood - qualities both rare and regarded for physical and sonic beauty - Ziricote is regarded as one of the finest tone woods - similar to Brazilian Rosewood - Additional premium features are: tight and symmetrical grains a gorgeous Adirondack spruce top AND interior scalloped bracing, a gorgeous classic look and petina with a herring bone style 28 rosette and trim. Black ebony bridge and fretboard w/ more gorgeous gloss finished ziricote on the headstock. This is a fantastic and rare guitar as physically gorgeous as it sounds. There are a couple surface scratches along the back and two very small dents on the bottom rear caused while the guitar was being placed upright to rest against a wall.
