Used Gretsch Chet Atkins Nashville Model | 1967 | Single Mute for Sale

This guitar has been setup by our luthier, play-tested and is fully functional.

According to Gretsch Guitar's website and dating system, we are led to believe that, based on the serial number, this guitar was made in 1967. As expected with a guitar that age, it definitely has some cosmetic wear, but play's well and all electronics function. The binding is cracking and has some chips. It looks like the nut had some work done on it. The pickguard has cracked where it seems a previous owner over-tightened the screws. There doesn't seem to be any major dings or scratches on the body, though there's a few small ones that we could only see when held in the "right" light. The cushion on the back of the guitar has no holes or gashes, though the embroidery on the edge is worn. (please view pictures for an idea of general cosmetic wear).

The guitar has the "Single Mute" switch which is pretty cool, and we've provided an image of what each component does as verified by our guitar tech/luthier. The guitar includes a hard-shell case, though we have no way of knowing if it's original or not. There's no "Gretsch" logo on it, though we're uncertain Gretsch was putting their brand on case in the 1960s. The case definitely has some age and wear on both the interior and exterior.
