Selling a lot of 5 ebony fingerboards that would have been possibly used on Gibson banjos. However, they all have some flaws. The 5 are nice dark ebony with no cracks and the fret slots cut, but the inlay cavities are not cut completely. They would be good for a first time banjo builder or for someone who wants to complete the inlay work. These fingerboards came from the Maudie Moore Estate in Kalamazoo. Maudi Moore was the Engraver and Inlay Artist at Gibson starting in 1969 and continued to work for them even after they moved to Nashville in the late "80's. Bindings will need to be added. Nut width is 1 3/32”, width at last fret is 1 27/32”, 3/16” thick (left and middle) and scale length is 26 3/8”.
-ALL 5 ARE SOLD AS A COMPLETE LOT, AS-IS. $60
