This series of Bach trumpet mouthpiece is available in a variety of sizes to meet the needs of the individual player. The Bach mouthpiece numbering system is arranged in an orderly progression from the largest to smallest diameters numbered from low to high.

1C* / Medium / 17.00 mm / Medium wide. / Large diameter, medium cup — good for all-around use.

3C-This mouthpiece has a fairly large cup with medium depth and rim shape and is good for all-around use. 16.30mm cup diameter, medium wide rim.

3D-This mouthpiece has a fairly large, medium shallow cup which produces a more brilliant tone. It facilitates brilliantly in the high register.

5C* / Medium / 16.25 mm / Medium wide, well rounded toward the inside and outside, fairly flat. / For players with a strong embouchure who do not like a sharp edge. The tone is lively and rich.

7C- Probably the most widely used model in the world. Its brilliant tone is preferred by school musicians and by artists. 16.20mm cup diameter. Rim: Medium wide, lowered toward the outside. Medium sharp inside. Well rounded edge with a perfect grip.

12C-Brilliant tone, easy high register for trumpeters who have to play forte in the upper range and for players with heavy, weak lips. Medium cup (15.20 mm Diameter), Rim Shape: Broad, rather flat.
