This is a vintage 1975 Alvarez Model #5059- in the style of a Martin D-28 Herringbone.
Solid Spruce Top, Solid Rosewood Back and Sides, Herringbone Purfling, rosewood overlay head-stock, original tuning keys, rosewood fingerboard
w/ Snowflake inlay markers.
The neck profile is a soft "V" shape like
the old Martins, Herringbone Rosette, Rosewood Bridge, & X braced.
This guitar is light as a feather and
has a very loud focused voice with a lot of punch.
The neck is in
good shape, with only one slight mark/scratch on the top near the 5th
fret. Frets are good w/ lots of life left. Action is good- not great,
but could be lowered a slight bit. Here are some photos- let me know if
