Inspired by a legend, we had this exclusive guitar made at the Nashville Custom Shop. The special color "Antique First Standard Burst", the matching 58 plain maple top hand-selected by Tom Murphy and the matching Murphy LAB Authentic Ultra Heavy Aged treatment make this Les Paul a very special highlight. And of course the matching pickups should not be missing here, so the Custombuckers Unpotted "Exposed" pickups were of course installed for this guitar.

About the sound:
already played without an amplifier, you can immediately feel the dry, woody character of a very good vintage guitar that has been played for a long time. Fast response, great resonance, fantastic sustain - growling bass, wiry mids, radiant highs. The amplifier shows the true potential of the guitar - the pickups are based on old PAFs and perfectly reflect the complexity of the originals! Very transparent, clear and slightly nasal with reduced output. The custom bucker on the bridge sounds a little more open, clear and transparent without a cap.

The LAB Ultra Heavy Aging penetrates virtually every pore of the guitar and the resulting look and feel is incredible. You can almost feel the mojo of the guitar. The Ultra Heavy Aging Pattern is outstanding, the weight of the guitar is wonderful, even playing it dry you can feel the resonance, the sustain and the vibrating of the whole body.
