2019 Darren Hippner Torres Model Rosewood and Spruce Classical Guitar

Here is an excellent condition, 2019 Darren Hippner - Antonio de Torres Model Classical Guitar.

This is a higher quality classical guitar. It was hand-built by Darren Hippner in his Point Roberts, Washington workshop.

This hand-crafted guitar was made using solid Indian Rosewood for the back and sides, a Cedar neck and a Spruce top. The head stock plates are Brazilian rosewood.

This guitar has been refurbished using nitrocellulose lacquer, as it was finished originally. There were no cracks in the sides, back or top of this guitar.

Scale length on this guitar is 650 millimeters. Nut width is 52 millimeters. The ebony fretboard and frets are in excellent condition. The fret ends have been additionally rounded and polished for smooth playing. Action on the 12th fret low E string is 3.1 millimeters and the 12th fret high E string measures 2.9 millimeters.

The Schaller high ratio tuning keys are smooth, and hold tune well. The label is in excellent condition.

The combination of Indian Rosewood and a Spruce top give this guitar sparkling trebles, while maintaining balanced bass. The Torres bracing design creates a very traditional classical sound, full of nuance, instead of the more boomy neutral tones of some larger body long scale guitars.

The guitar will be carefully packed and shipped in a good condition hard shell case.
