Victoria Club Deluxe 6l6 Head-Tweed

The Victoria Club Deluxe amp is essentially the business end of a classic AB763 Deluxe Reverb minus the normal channel and tremolo. By eliminating the tremolo, the Club Deluxe is stripped down the tonal essentials with zero signal loss normally associated with the inclusion of blackface tremolo circuitry. Features fixed bias 6V6's (adjustable) and all tube transformer coupled reverb with a full sized Accutronics tank. The Club Deluxe is rated at 22W and is equipped with a GZ34 rectifier, two 6V6GT's, three 12AX7, and a 12AT7. Controls are VOLUME, TREBLE, BASS and REVERB. The Club Deluxe is a single channel amp with 3 inputs; primary, -3db, -6db. The Club Deluxe features a half power switch which is incorporated into the STANDBY switch. Cabinet dimension is 16H X 20W X 10.5D.

A 6L6 variant is also available, and increases the wattage to 28-40 watts, depending on the output transformer employed. At that point it will be a '63 Vibroverb or Vibrolux. except no vibro. The differences are what you would expect from 6V6 vs 6L6. The 6L6 amp will have superior headroom and increased low end focus, and the 6V6 will have a tighter, sweeter top end. both are great sounding amps. It may be the best Strat neck pickup amp available.
