Asher Electro Hawaiian Model 1 Lapsteel 2022 (is NOT the Junior model)
Made in California, USA by Bill Asher. These are the real deal lapsteel guitars, played by most of the masters you can think of. The understated looks of this beast may be deceiving - I have specified to leave the top plain (for cost) with no fancy top wood - but Bill Asher has made no compromises on the build quality or sound of the instrument.
Notice that there are 2 small screw holes at the heel of the body on either side of the strap button. Those are from a previously installed palm bender accessory that I have removed and restored the guitar to its standard state of all 6 strings through the body.
This type of Asher Electro Hawaiian Model 1 lapsteel guitar is very selfom available in Europe, and this one is already imported into EU (Finland) and therefore NO additional EU or national import customs or VAT costs (19%-25%) will apply on top of the selling price, unlike when importing from UK or from the US.
