Vintage 1984 Ibanez DT250 Destroyer Electric Guitar!
Transparent Red Finish! Made In Japan!
This is really Cool. You are looking at a Vintage 1984 Ibanez DT250 Destroyer Electric Guitar. Break out the Hair Spray and Spandex! The 1980's are Back!
Ibanez was the preferred guitar of choice in the 1980's Hair Band Era. This was the "Golden Age" Of Ibanez Made In Japan Guitars. All of these Japanese Ibanez's from that era are very collectable. And the The Red Fingerboard really just says it all. Cool shapes and colors.
The DT250 features an X-shaped basswood body with a birch top and beveled edges mated to a set-in maple neck with a 22-fret fingerboard with dot markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez V5 humbucking pickups, a Powerocker synchronized tremolo bridge, Tek Grip knobs and Smooth Tuner II machine heads. Controlled by one master volume, one master tone knobs and a 3-way toggle switch. A Superfast thin D neck profile. The hardware is comprised of Ibanez branded Gotoh tuning machines, a graphite nut, a Ibanez Powerocker synchronized tremolo bridge, and black tek-grip knobs.
The Transparent Red DT250 has a maple fretboard which is stained to match the body.
Awesome Guitar for gigging. Just enough wear to give it street cred. Very Authentic. 100% Stock. No mods.

Cosmetics: Very Good Condition. Keep in mind that this is a 40 year old guitar that has been used. The Top has several light scratches. The Back has some marks from being held next to the player's body. There is a nickel size chip on the Back just below the cavity cover that someone touched up with some red paint. (See picture #9). 3rd fret has a small chip in the fingerboard. (See picture #10). Neck and Fingerboard in great shape. Headstock has some chips at the tip. (See picture #7). Overall, a solid used guitar. Dripping with "Mojo" Look at the pictures closely. They will tell the story.
