About This Listing

This Gibson Les Paul Standard plays and sounds great! The neck has a comfortable '60s profile and the honey burst finish looks great.

This guitar does show a few signs of cosmetic wear. This includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and small dents throughout the body and some small chipping in the binding. The back of the neck and headstock show some wear as well. Since the tuners have been replaced, the original screw holes have been filled and are still visible. This has been well done and isn't as noticeable from faraway or in low lighting. There appears to be some checking starting to form on the back of the neck, particularly where the back of the neck meets the headstock. The frets show normal play wear and the electronics work as they should.

The strap buttons have been replaced and the tuners have been upgraded to Sperzel locking tuners. The original tuners are included inside the case. The headstock has also been refinished. Due to this headstock refinish (likely due to finish checking like you often see on other Les Pauls of this era) the "Les Paul" yellow script is not present. This guitar had a different bridge pickup at one point, but the original Burstbucker has been reinstalled.

Includes the pictured OHSC.
