About This Listing

Stoll Guitars has been founded in the eighties by Christian Stoll, who has his own vision on building guitars. Stoll Guitars are made in Germany and pursue the concept of quality "Made in Germany".

The PT Terz Travel is based on Stroll's large model PT 69, but is a terz guitar, and sounds best in a Terz tuning (G/capo 3)The small, cute ‘Terz guitar’ – is around 20% shorter than a modern acoustic, and tuned a minor 3rd higher (G-C-F-Bb-D-G) and this tiny axe is known for its “brilliant tone, fast response, and ability to project through orchestral accompaniment

. They adjusted the body size and also the depth according to a scale length of 21.9".

Balanced, precise and with quick response in both bass and treble, this travel guitar offers the sound and comfort you can expect from a Stoll guitar. In the tradition of guitarists and songwriters who were really travelling with their guitars, it is ideally suited for traditional folk and picking sounds of the 1930s and 40s, but also masters other genres.

This PT Travel is ready to discover new places. It has some small traces of use and a couple dings on the body and neck, it still looks clean and is in excellent condition. Comes in a gigbag with TFOA passport.
